Watermain Work on River Street

RB Robinson Company will begin drilling under the railroad tracks of Monday, July 13 in order to continue with the watermain installation south of the tracks.  The process of drilling under the tacks and installing the new watermain is very involved, but they expect to be completed by Friday, July 17. 

Once they are on the other side of the tracks, the crew will continue laying the watermains to the end of River Street and East Street.

Residents can expect to hear loud noises during this process and possibly dust conditions.  This is unavoidable, so please be patient if you are effected.  

Also, the southbound lane of River Street and the section of Railroad Ave between Center Street and River Street will be closed for the duration of the drilling.  This shouldn't have a substantial impact on traffic flow, but if you are concerned, please plan on extra time driving if you live south of the tracks.
